Download DBAOps Sovereign (RHOYL label), install on your infrastructure, and register up to 3 SQL Server instances. You get the full observability and compliance engine — fleet views, Compliance Center, security posture, and read-only remediation recommendations. Autonomy (execute/AI) and regulated framework packs unlock at Enterprise or as add-ons. No credit card for Community.
When do I need a paid license?
When you need more than 3 instances (Starter starts at 5), or when you need autonomy / regulated packs (Enterprise), or containment (Government). You receive a signed .license file via the customer portal — the download never includes a paid Unlimited key.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you'll be prorated for the difference. When downgrading, the new rate takes effect at your next billing cycle.
What counts as a "server"?
Each SQL Server instance counts as one instance toward your tier limit. A host with 3 named instances = 3. Always On availability groups: each replica you monitor counts separately unless you use our AG-aware grouping (contact sales for large AG estates).
