📋 Installation

  1. Download the package for your platform below and verify its SHA256 checksum.
  2. Extract it to a working folder on a machine that can reach your SQL Server.
  3. Windows: run INSTALL.bat (calls scripts\customer-install.ps1).
  4. Copy .env.example to .env, set SOVEREIGN_DB_CONNECTION, then npm run migrate and npm start.
  5. Open http://localhost:3041/ — the API serves the dashboard (one process, one port).
  6. Community edition activates for up to 3 instances with the observability and compliance engine — no paid Unlimited key is included in the download.

Prerequisites: SQL Server 2016+ (2022+ recommended), Node.js 20 or 22 LTS only (not Current / 24+), Windows PowerShell 5.1 for collectors. See docs/ENTERPRISE-INSTALL.md in the package.

Linux/macOS packages use the pure-JS tedious SQL driver (no Windows-native msnodesqlv8). Prefer a clean-machine install smoke-test after download.
